A brief analysis was conducted on the impact of ISO 22000 in countries around the world. An informal survey carried out in 2008 by ISO showed that ISO 22000 had been implemented in at least 72 countries. The article examines some of the companies that have adopted ISO 22000, and the impact ISO 22000 is having on the rest of the world.
